Effective home-styling can only be achieved after certain important details are established before any work is done. It’s crucial for us to understand your likes and dislikes, your budget, as well as what your existing living space actually looks like in order for us to create and cultivate a warmth and atmosphere that is congruent to your tastes. Once we have a better understanding of these important elements we can begin crafting a style for your home that reflects your lifestyle and personal leanings.

So before we sit down and chat together, have a walk around your home and ask yourself these questions:

Do I like big spaces or do I enjoy cozy confines?
What activities do my family and I engage in, in each room?
What do I like about my current rooms?
What qualities can I identify in each room that give it a distinct atmosphere?
What places in the world do I enjoy thinking of?
What kind of person am I? (i.e. are you work oriented, relaxed, happy-go-lucky, concrete etc)

These questions are designed to inform us of the functionality of your home and its individual rooms as well as give us a general idea of your taste. We’ll have a few more questions for you when we meet but these are enough to jump-start the creative process. Bring your answers to us, along with photographs of your home, so we can start fleshing out design approaches that will best serve your home.

Once we have looked over your answers, your house, talked to your further about your goals and personal design ideas, we will provide you with a concept presentation that details what needs to be done, costs involved, and projected timetable for project completion.

As soon as we reach an agreement, we will put in motion the process of crafting and transforming your home into the space you’ve always dreamed it should be.
